Doncic Blows Big Lead, But Dallas Escapes with Win

In a thrilling NBA matchup, the Dallas Mavericks overcame a large deficit to defeat the Los Angeles Clippers 103-101 at the Staples Center. Luka Doncic led the Mavs with a triple-double, but it was the Clippers who looked poised to pull off the upset.

The Clippers built a 16-point lead in the third quarter, but Doncic and the Mavericks rallied to tie the game at 81-81 heading into the fourth quarter. The Clippers regained the lead early in the final frame, but the Mavericks wouldn't go away.

With just over a minute remaining, Doncic hit a jumper to give the Mavericks a 101-100 lead. The Clippers had a chance to tie the game with a three-pointer, but Paul George's shot was off the mark. Maxi Kleber grabbed the rebound and was fouled, giving the Mavericks a three-point lead.

The Clippers had one final chance to tie the game with a two-pointer, but Terance Mann's shot was blocked by Dorian Finney-Smith. The Mavericks secured the rebound and held on for the 103-101 victory.

Doncic finished with 35 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists for the Mavericks. Kleber added 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Finney-Smith contributed 16 points.

Paul George led the Clippers with 29 points, while Kawhi Leonard added 22 points and 10 rebounds. Reggie Jackson chipped in with 15 points off the bench.

The Mavericks improved to 9-6 with the win, while the Clippers fell to 8-7.
