Saquon Barkley's Giants Career Concludes, Reunites on 1-Year Deal
Saquon Barkley agrees with New York Giants on one-year deal.
Barkley's return comes after a disappointing 2022 season hampered by injuries.
Saquon Barkley's tenure with the New York Giants has concluded, but he will still be a part of the organization. On Tuesday, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported that Barkley and the Giants have agreed to terms on a one-year contract worth up to $11 million.
Barkley was selected second overall by the Giants in the 2018 NFL draft and set several NFL and team records en route to making the Pro Bowl as a rookie. However, injuries have plagued Barkley in recent seasons, limiting him to just 13 games in 2022.
Barkley's return to the Giants gives the team a much-needed boost in the backfield. Barkley is still one of the most dynamic playmakers in the NFL when healthy, and he will look to regain his Pro Bowl form in 2023.
